Characters Character Sheets IRC(Edit)If you don't have an IRC program, click this link. When the page has loaded, enter a nickname and click *Connect*. Once you're connected, to join the IC channel, type "*/join #Dune_IC*" and press *ENTER*. There will be tabs at the top of the browser window to switch between the IC & OOC channels. If you do have an IRC program, here are the details: Server: phillipsuk.org Port: 6667 Channel: #Dune_OOC and #Dune_IC Nicks(Edit)Nicks cannot be longer than 30 characters. We appear to have settled on the following style: Sietch_Name|Common_Name|OOC_Name
For the naib and reverend mother, I'll put the title first:
Internal Monologue(Edit)The books are full of it! If you wish to let people know what you're thinking, use three dots on either side of the text, eg: ... Hmm, I think he's lying. Wonder why? ... Dice Bot(Edit)I've written a bot to roll dice for us. When you use it to roll dice, it will print the result in the OOC channel. To use it, send it a private message (double-click on it's name in the OOC channel to open a private message window). If you mention it's name in the OOC channel, it will open a private message window. To make a success roll, type your basic skill level, followed by the modifier if there is one. eg: 12-4 12 To make a damage roll:, type the damage roll, as given on your character sheet. eg: 1d 1d+2 Either type of roll can be followed by a comment in brackets which will be included in the result, eg: 10 (firing at Harkonnen with laser rifle) If you type something that it doesn't recognise as a success or damage roll, it will display help text in the private message window.
