Sometimes used to refer to the great worms of Arrakis, if the speaker is angry at the worm for some reason. Tau(Edit) The concept of the oneness of the sietch, a very deep tribal unity. Extends to other desert fremen to some extent, but not to city and village fremen. Umma(Edit) Umma is a Chakobsa word meaning "prophet", and is a term often applied (privately, within the fremen - like a sietch name) to Pardot Kynes, the imperial planetologist. Wali(Edit) An untried youth, one that has yet to command shai-hulud. Yali(Edit) Private living quarters in a sietch. Sietch life doesn't afford much privacy, so the privacy of the yali is valued and always respected.

I shall try to add entries to this page that are used, or likely to be used, in the game. Dune Wikia's page on Fremen Language is much more comprehensive.

Ichwan Bedwine(Edit)

The brotherhood to which all fremen on Arrakis belong. Individual members are referred to as "Ichwan"
